Thinking

Just some thoughts:

Health~

"Health and cheerfulness naturally beget each other." ~Joseph Addison

Living Life~

"When you do things in your own distinctive, colorful way there will be fans, there will be detractors—those who don't get it...Your challenge is to charm them into thinking what's good for you is good for them and, of course, to move on when those efforts fail."
Bill Geist, to his son Willie in the book, Good Talk, Dad.

Forgiveness~

"Forgiveness inevitably leads to acceptance," writes Iyanla Vanzant in Forgiveness: 21 Days to Forgive Everyone for Everything. "Acceptance does not mean that you agree with, condone, appreciate or even like what has happened. Acceptance means you know...that there is something bigger than you at work. It also means you know that you are going to be okay and that you will continue to be okay." Even if the person you have to forgive (and thus, accept) is you.

Gratitude~

"Here's the gift of gratitude: In order to feel it, your ego has to take a backseat. What shows up in its place is greater compassion and understanding. Instead of being frustrated, you choose appreciation. And the more grateful you become, the more you have to be grateful for."
